Meet Patty Murphy-Desmond
Patty began her career in the healing arts as a massage therapist, graduating from the Massage Therapy school in 2002. In 2006 she started her journey at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration (now the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute) becoming a Certified Rolfer® in 2007.
Patty has seen clients from many walks of life, including athletes, business professionals, clients suffering from chronic pain and illnesses, parents, expectant mothers, children, and babies as young as 8 weeks old. Patty is consistently and constantly working to continue her education in the field to bring her clients top of the line quality holistic health care.
Over the last 20+ years she has also studied CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Nerve Mobilization, to name a few. Patty also completed a 200-hour teacher’s certification in Hatha Yoga in 2009. In 2016 she also completed her Advanced Training becoming a Certified Advance Rolfer®.
Patty has the special ability to see people for who they are, which allows her to meet them where they are as an individual. Patty believes the best part of her job is helping people to heal, experience less pain, find more possibilities in their bodies and see the newfound ease and freedom of movement in their life off her table.
